We are excited to announce the following social activities will be available during the conference on the Wednesday afternoon:

1	Walking along the oceanfront	Enjoy a guided group walk, setting off from the conference venue, and exploring the oceanfront along Mooloolaba and Maroochydore! The whole group will stay together from 1:30pm-3:30pm, then there will be an option to continue walking or stop for refreshments. Group schedule for walking: 1:30pm – 2:00pm: Explore the rocky beach front across from the Mantra Mooloolaba (conference venue). 2:00pm – 3:30pm: Walk north along ocean front heading to Maroochydore Beach (approx. 45 min one-way) and back, exploring beaches, cafés and shops. 3:30pm – onwards: Either walk south to The Wharf (approx. 15 min) and have refreshments, or walk to the mouth of Mooloolaba River (approx. 35 minutes one-way) and then to The Wharf to have refreshments.	1:30pm–3:30pm	Mantra Mooloolaba	No cost for the walking. Self-funding required for cafés, shops, and refreshments.
2	Aquaduck	Explore Mooloolaba by land and sea on the Aquaduck Sunshine Coast. Departing directly in front of SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast, Aquaduck combines the best sights of Mooloolaba into one fun and exciting tour. More information: https://www.aquaduck.com.au/sunshine-coast/	Departure time: 2pm (check in 20 mins before departure, which will be 1:40pm). Duration: 1 hour.	Departure location: Near the Mooloolaba Aquarium, but the street side.	Group bookings available: with a minimum of 15, max of 29, and there will be a discount on the $60/head but depends on group size. Bar not available.
3	Mooloolaba Canal Cruise at Sunset	Leave the land behind for a relaxing change of pace cruising through the calm waters of the Mooloolah River on Mooloolaba’s most popular canal cruise. Board your cruise from the Mooloolaba Wharf for a tranquil journey through the heart of Mooloolaba. Step onboard our 1-hour cruise and immerse yourself in our Skipper’s live commentary, ensuring you not only see the sights but also learn about the region’s rich history and significance. More information: https://www.mooloolabacanalcruise.com/	Departure time: sunset (arrive 15 mins before departure, which will be ~6:10pm). Duration: 1 hour.	The Wharf Mooloolaba (near the aquarium). The exact address is 123 Parkyn Parade Mooloolaba, QLD, 4557. If you head through the Wharf complex towards the water, you will see our beautiful vessel the M.V.Mudjimba (located behind Rice Boi restaurant).	$38 per person for a group booking of min 15 and max 35. 4	Ginger Factory	One of the Sunshine Coast’s most popular attractions, The Ginger Factory has been delighting families for more than 40 years. Home of Buderim Ginger, the World’s Finest Ginger™, visitors can explore the beautiful nine-hectare property and factory on our tours and rides. It is the world’s largest operating ginger factory and produces a large range of delicious and locally made ginger drinks, sweets, spreads and foods. The iconic Ginger Factory also boasts boutique shopping, a café and ice creamery, lush sub-tropical gardens and exciting rides. Tours (group will do together): Tastes of Ginger tour (40 mins), Live Bee Show (40 mins), Ginger Train Ride (15 mins). More information: https://www.gingerfactory.com.au/	Bus departure time: 1pm. Arrive at Ginger Factory: 1:30pm. Leave Ginger Factory via bus at 4:30pm. Return to Mantra Mooloolaba 5:10pm.	Bus departure location: Mantra Mooloolaba. 5	Montville	Free time in Montville to explore the many shops and art galleries along the main strip. Suggested group afternoon tea at Poets Café at 3:30pm (optional). More information: Montville Shopping, Montville Dining	Bus departure time: 1pm. Arrive at Montville 1:45pm. Afternoon tea at Poets Café 3pm. Leave Montville via bus at 4:15pm. Return to Mantra Mooloolaba 5:10pm.	Bus departure location: Mantra Mooloolaba. Montville is centrally placed on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, about ~30km west of Mantra Mooloolaba. Bus return location: Mantra Mooloolaba.	$44 (bus fare). Self-funding required for cafés, shops, etc.
